Whitney Leavitt quickly became one of the most talked about stars of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives when season 1 premiered in 2024. Not only was she making headlines for her drama with the cast, but fans also grew interested in her relationship with her husband, Conner Leavitt. In light of season 2’s premiere in May 2025, many viewers are wondering who Conner is, what he does for work and more.

Conner told Vulture in May 2025 that he works at a newly-formed hedge fund. All his managers are based in Dubai, so he gets to work from home.

Additionally, he likely makes some extra income for his appearances on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives alongside Whitney and their family.

The couple met on a double date. They both agreed to attend the date as wingmen for their friends, though they hit it off and decided to keep chatting once their friends left.

Conner and Whitney later got married in 2016 at Mormon temple in Provo, Utah.

Conner and Whitney are the proud parents to three children: Sedona, Liam and Billy Gene.

Her pregnancy with Billy was briefly featured on season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and she gave birth to her third son early on in the season.

“We loved the gender neutrality in the name since we weren’t finding out the baby’s gender until delivery, which we’ve never done before,” Whitney told People in October 2024 about her youngest son’s name. “The name allowed us to feel connected to the baby without knowing the gender.”

While speaking to the outlet, Whitney also shared a sweet moment between Billy, Sedona and Liam when they met for the first time. “Upon meeting Billy, they were a bit surprised that they actually didn’t get to decide the baby’s gender,” the TV personality said about her two oldest kids. “But, they’ve warmed up to him quickly and now all they want to do is hold their new baby brother.”

Conner and Whitney took a major step in their relationship when they announced that they bought their first home together in St. George, Utah, in April 2025.

“It’s a miracle, WE BOUGHT A HOME! A dream turned reality,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “So much of this was made possible because of you. Thank you for supporting me.”

After the couple made their reality TV debut, rumors began to swirl that they were involved in a “lavender marriage.” The term represents relationships between queer and heterosexual individuals, which are often done to hide the sexual orientation of the queer person.

Whitney and Conner have both poked fun at the rumors on several occasions. In April 2025, she shared a video of the pair dancing via TikTok. Conner was shown pulling her into the frame and spinning her around before he dipped her for a kiss. “Proof this isn’t a lavender marriage,” text read on the screen.

The caption also read “FWB,” which is an acronym for “friends with benefits.”
