He was seeking $500,000 in damages, according to court documents obtained by The Blast. Snoop alleged that the company (PDQ Enterprises) he hired not only failed to complete the work as agreed but also neglected to pay subcontractors. They did not meet the required regulatory standards.
In his complaint, he claimed that multiple agreements were entered into in good faith and that he had upheld all of his obligations under the contract. However, the contractors allegedly failed to deliver on their promises, prompting the lawsuit for breach of contract and related damages.
According to PDQ Enterprises, Snoop Dogg and his team hired them to do various home upgrades. These included landscaping, stucco, and paint touch-ups, AC reconnection, and installing appliances and doors. They also handled pool fence installation and rust stain removal.
PDQ asserted that the total cost of the work amounted to $12,385.90. They alleged that the rapper and his team refused to pay the outstanding bill. In response, PDQ filed to place a lien on the property and requested court approval for foreclosure, aiming to recover the unpaid amount through the property's sale proceeds.
