When will Caitlin Clark return from her injury? The Fever star provides a new update.
Indiana Fever superstar guard Caitlin Clark hasn't played since May 24 with a quad injury, but her return might be right around the corner.
Clark spoke with reporters on Thursday and offered some hope that she won't be out too much longer. While she won't play in Saturday's road game against the Chicago Sky, Clark said she will get a better idea of when she might be able to play again over the weekend.

"I'm not going to rush coming back; it's just not worth it," Clark said about her return. "After this weekend, I'll be reevaluated and will have a better idea of when I'll return."
When asked if she could get back for her team's away game against the Atlanta Dream next Tuesday, Clark didn't necessarily rule out the chances of playing.
"We're trying not to put, like, an exact date out there because it is kind of a day-by-day thing and see how I feel," Clark said. "It could be a possibility, but I could also not be available for that game, too."
The Fever won its first game without Clark on Tuesday against the Washington Mystics, and certainly winning again in Chicago would give Indiana more reassurance it can achieve victories with Clark out of the lineup.

However, the Fever are at their best when Clark is on the court. We know the team and the player want this return to happen as soon as possible, but it certainly sounds like both sides will wait for the right moment.
The good news for Fever fans is that a Tuesday return in Atlanta isn't off the table right now.
