Wendy's Canada has introduced the Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger, a limited-time offering that merges the flavors of a cheeseburger and a grilled cheese sandwich. This innovative menu item is now available at Wendy's locations across Canada.

The Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger features two grilled cheese sandwiches serving as the buns. Inside these grilled cheese "buns" is a quarter-pound beef patty, accompanied by caramelized onions, mayonnaise, and American cheese. Customers also have the option to upgrade to double or triple patties for an even heartier meal.

The grilled cheese sandwich "buns" are constructed with melted cheese between two halves of a plain hamburger bun. Both grilled cheese sandwich "buns" are oriented with the top curved bun facing the Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger's fillings, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing presentation.

While the grilled cheese sandwich bun might seem novel, it's not entirely without precedent in the fast-food industry. Jack in the Box previously offered the Stacked Grilled Cheese Burger, which featured a grilled cheese sandwich as its top bun.
