A video showing the last moments on earth for Victor Otieno, a Thika-based college student,broke hearts after going viral.

At only 24, Otieno was among Kenyans who sadly died during the nationwide Gen-Z-led protests that took place on June 25, 2025.

A young woman left her father in panic after she texted him a cryptic message ahead of the June 25 protests.

Upon receiving the unsettling message from the Gen-Z lady, the worried dad attempted to call her, but she didn’t answer. In a follow-up post, she shared that her father eventually reached her and scolded her for the alarming message.

This comes as many Gen Zs sent farewell messages to their families and also released their eulogies before attending the protests.

Young Margaret Wanjiru, was murdered during a church service after she went outside to play while her mother remained inside.

On Sunday, June 22, her unconscious body was discovered outside the church compound; she was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital

According to the surveillance footage from nearby homes and street cameras, a Form 4 girl was seen walking out of the church compound with the child; she then led her to a secluded area and committed the act.

Her family has been left bewildered after the Form 4 girl revealed to the authorities the motive behind the cruel murder.
