According to trade analyst Sacnilk, 'Vidaamuyarchi' collected around Rs 50 lakhs on its twelfth day. The film had a strong opening week, accumulating Rs 72.75 crore. The earnings for the subsequent days were as follows: Rs 1.15 crore on the second Friday, Rs 1.6 crore on the second Saturday, and Rs 1.9 crore on the second Sunday. This consistent performance showcases the film's appeal, especially in Tamil Nadu, where it has seen significant occupancy rates.
On Monday, February 17, 2025, the film recorded a 12.23% occupancy rate across Tamil cinemas. Morning shows had an occupancy of 11.74%, while afternoon shows saw a slight increase to 13.99%. Evening and night shows maintained similar levels of interest at 11.25% and 11.93%, respectively.
Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, 'Vidaamuyarchi' is a story of Arjun played by Ajith Kumar and Kayal by Trisha Krishnan, a married couple facing a crisis in their relationship after 12 years together.
