Vick Hope asks concert crowd for baby name ideas ahead of first child with Calvin Harris
Vick Hope brought fun and joy to Liverpool’s Radio 1 Big Weekend on Saturday, as she made her final on-air appearance before going on maternity leave, turning to the crowd for baby name inspiration.
The 35-year-old presenter, who is expecting her first child with husband Calvin Harris, took to the stage with co-host Jamie Laing, 36.
Mid-show, Jamie addressed the audience, saying, ‘Vick is about to go on maternity leave, and she wants some help with baby names- shout out your suggestions!’ As the crowd erupted with ideas, Vick laughed and replied, ‘Ok, I got it.’
Baby number nine! Boris Johnson becomes a father again

Dressed in a vibrant, figure-hugging maxi dress with a thigh-high split, Vick was glowing as she proudly showed off her blossoming baby bump.
Vick appeared to be loving every second of the festival atmosphere, sharing playful behind-the-scenes snaps on social media alongside co-host Jamie. The duo caught standout performances, including a surprise appearance by Mel C during Tom Grennan’s set!

Later in the day, Vick was seen in a casual black dress and trainers as she chatted with fellow presenters Arielle Free, Greg James, and Lauren Layfield.
Marking the end of her ‘Going Home’ slot with Jamie, Vick posted a heartfelt message to her followers:
‘Final @bbcradio1 Going Home show with just the two of us for a little while- it’s been such an absolute blast! Thank you for the love and the laughs these last few months sweet sweet @jamielaing, all the team, and of course our amazing listeners. Legends, the lot of ya.’

Jamie also shared his well-wishes on air, telling Vick, ‘You’re an amazing friend, an amazing person, and you’re just going to be an amazing mum.’ To which she humbly replied, ‘Oh, thank you.’
Vick and Calvin, who tied the knot in September 2023, have mainly kept their relationship out of the public eye, only recently confirming the news of her pregnancy to the world.

The couple is also reportedly planning to raise their child between their multiple homes, including a farm in Ibiza and a 10-acre estate in the Cotswolds, where a new mansion is currently under construction- not too shabby, eh?
Despite the growing public interest, Vick has made it clear she’s not looking to make a spectacle of her pregnancy. ‘This is not an announcement, by the way, people keep asking, “Are you going to announce?” And I’m like, “I’m not the King,”’ she joked on air.
She added, ‘I’ll be honest, I struggle with anything that’s personal or private. I’ll tell you a story about eating a kebab out of a bin, that’s one thing. But there’s a line, and I’ve just really enjoyed experiencing this quietly and privately.’
Best of luck in this exciting new chapter, Vick!
