UPSC CSE Main Examination 2025. The commission will issue further notifications for the Main exam schedule. To improve the registration and application process, UPSC has introduced a revamped online application platform. The new portal, available at upsconline.nic.in, features a four-part structure allowing candidates to complete key steps ahead of specific exam notifications. The new system is now active.
Of these, three—Account Creation, Universal Registration, and Common Application Form—can be completed anytime by candidates. The fourth section, labelled “Examination,” will display exam-specific notices, application links, and status updates, which candidates must fill out only during the notification period of each exam.
The UPSC has clarified that the older One Time Registration (OTR) system is now discontinued. All aspirants are required to create fresh profiles and upload documents on the updated platform at upsconline.nic.in. For identity verification, the commission recommends using Aadhaar cards to simplify the authentication process. The updated system will be used for all future exams, including the CDS II and NDA & NA II for 2025.
Meanwhile, the UPSC will conduct the Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination 2025 on June 8. Candidates appearing for this exam can download their admit cards from upsconline.gov.in.
