Unseasonably Cool This Week, Freeze Watch Tuesday Night

The weather pattern will finally calm down this week with no threat of severe weather. It will be unseasonably cool for much of the week, and we could see some frost the next few mornings.

: it will become clear and cold with lows ranging from the middle 30s to lower 40s. Patchy frost is expected, so protect your plants!

A dry cold front will move across the state on Tuesday. We will have plenty of sunshine with unseasonably cool high temperatures in the lower 60s.

Tuesday night will be clear and cold with frost. Lows will be in the lower to middle 30s. Protect your plants and pets! A Freeze Watch is in effect from 1 AM until 9 AM Wednesday morning.

High pressure will build across the Southeast U.S. on Wednesday ahead of a cold front. It will be sunny and warmer with highs around 70º.

A cold front will move across Alabama on Thursday into Friday morning. Showers and storms will return later in the day and become more widespread overnight. Some hail is possible. The highs will be in the middle 70s.

Friday will start with a few showers in the morning, but it will dry out in the afternoon as high pressure sits northwest of Alabama. It will become mostly sunny and turn cooler with high temperatures in the middle 60s.

: High pressure will build into the Southeast U.S. all weekend leading to lovely weather. Saturday will be sunny with unseasonably cool high temperatures in the middle 60s. Sunday will have plenty of sunshine with warmer high temperatures in the lower 70s.
