A FILIPINO basketball fan’s dream matchup between the NBA’s and the PBA’s best finally unfolded in a slam dunk and three-point showdown by deodorant brand Rexona.

Well, at least it came pretty close to it.

Alvin Patrimonio defeated LeBwrong James, the King’s local equivalent, in a slam dunk contest, while LA Tenorio thrashed Stepping Curry, the PH’s version of the "Chef," in a three-point shootout after a 99-foot shot from the parking lot.

Stepping and LeBwrong are two of the most prominent Pinoy impersonators of international stars, whose real names are Sherwin Altagracia and Yanick Mboe.

Their resemblance to the icons is uncanny, and their skills aren’t too bad either.

The ad was released on Rexona’s socials on April 19, promoting the brand’s ‘motion-activated’ Ice Cool edition of its deodorant line.

It is a sequel to a February release, where Altagracia and Mboe also appeared alongside Jordan Crackson, an impersonator of Jordan Clarkson.
