VARANASI: Two youths lost their lives after their motorcycle fell into a roadside ditch under the Gosaipur outpost in the Cholapur police station area on Thursday night. The deceased were identified as Sandeep Chauhan, 28, a resident of Gaura Post Bhopapur in the Cholapur area, and Sajan Chauhan, 20, a resident of Kadipur in the Chaubepur area.According to reports, they went somewhere for some work. While returning home, they lost control of the motorcycle at the speed breaker and fell into a ditch on the roadside along with the bike near the Bhopapur Pachpedwa Baba temple. Both the bike rider and the young man sitting behind died in the accident.Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the spot and sent both of them to the Cholapur Community Health Centre, where the doctors declared both of them dead. The police sent the bodies for post-mortem. Inspector-in-Charge of Cholapur, Rakesh Kumar Gautam, said that the bodies were handed over to the family members after the post-mortem.
