Jae Lee is the co-founder and CEO of TwelveLabs, a pioneering company building state-of-the-art multimodal foundation models that empower developers and enterprises to extract deep insights from complex video data. Before founding TwelveLabs, Lee served as lead data scientist at the Ministry of National Defense in Korea, where he applied machine learning to national-scale challenges. Lee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley, making this event a meaningful return to the university where his journey in technology and entrepreneurship began.
