These days, it feels like there's an app for every possible occasion - especially when you're travelling.
From booking local transport and restaurants, to each hotel or tourist attraction having their own app , your phone can get pretty clogged up when planning a holiday.
Thankfully, there's an easy solution: dedicated folders.
"When travelling, pop all the apps you'll need in a dedicated album on your phone," Cheree, who blogs as Oh So Busy Mum, wrote on Facebook.
She shared a photo of three of her app folders - one each for America, Hong Kong, and Bali."
"It makes it much easier having them all in the one place!," she wrote.
Apps in the 'America' folder include the Disneyland and Universal apps, along with Instacart, hotel apps, and the Qantas app.
Meanwhile, the 'Bali' folder has apps like Gojek and Grab, which are used for transport and delivery in Bali.
Many commenters say that while they already have a travel folder, separating the apps out by destination is a really helpful idea.
There are plenty of destination-specific apps that you might need on your travels, from local transport apps to currency converters, food delivery, and maps.
One person in the comments says they take this hack beyond travel: "I also have a separate album for the kids' school and sport-related apps," they wrote, keeping everything neat and tidy on their phone.
Seasoned traveller Sami Lukis told 9Travel that the number one app she swears by while travelling is Splitwise.
"If you're travelling with a group, it keeps track of all the money that you've spent, who's spent what, and then it'll do all the math and divide it up evenly," she reveals.
"Friendships can sometimes get a little strained when you're travelling, and people can get weird about money. So this app is perfect."
And her favourite website when planning a trip is SeatGuru.
"What you do is you put your flight number and date of travel in and it will tell you the seating configuration of the aircraft that's operating your flight."
"It will tell you which are the best seats and which seats to avoid, particularly if you're going to spend a little extra money to get an exit row seat or to get a window seat."
Meanwhile, more and more people are turning to AI to help plan their holidays, so downloading the ChatGPT app could help if you're stuck while writing your itinerary.
When 9Travel tried to use an AI chatbot to plan a holiday, we hit a few roadblocks - here are the things to know before you try doing it yourself.
