Klassen, a Port Washington, Wis native, has a 6.99 ERA over 13 outings, with 57 strikeouts and 22 walks in 47.2 innings pitched this season.

He’s delivered multiple solid performances this season despite spending a majority of May on the injured list after being hit in the head by a line drive and going into concussion protocol.

On June 13, he pitched 6.0 scoreless innings with five strikeouts, only allowing two hits, in the Trash Pandas’ 4–1 victory over Pensacola. On April 22, he struck out nine Birmingham Barons batters over 5.1 shutout innings.

The Futures game kicks off a weekend of All-Star festivities, followed by the Celebrity Softball Game, the Home Run Derby, and finally, the All-Star Game on Monday night.
