Top 10 Shows of New York Fashion Week Fall 2025

Published 1 month ago2 minute read

The Fall 2025 season in New York was both a celebration of the unique strength of American design and a telling litmus test for the fractured identities of the luxury industry as a whole. Despite the dire political situation in the U.S., most designers opted to keep their heads down and show collections that felt keyed-in to sensible, everyday luxury, rather than coming out with a strong statement of a creative point of view – though they were not without their romantic and expressive touches.

Nonetheless, we did see some strong individual collections and some exciting designer debuts. While we’re not sure about the identity and direction of American design as a whole, the week was still another beautifully crafted reminder of what we love about fashion.

The hotly anticipated debut of Veronica Leoni for Calvin Klein Collection saw the brand make a safe but strong return to the runway, laying a foundation for the brand’s next chapter.

Thom Browne made one of his rare returns to New York with a collection that infused the whimsical joy of birding into his signature blend of formality and surrealism.

Khaite leads the pack with a show that saw Catherine Holstein continue to refine her vision of the minimalist and subtly sensual mood of the moment while planting seeds for exciting new sartorial directions.

Here are The Impression’s picks for the Top 10 shows of the Fall 2025 season in New York as selected by our editor-in-chief, Kenneth Richard.
