Tinubu celebrates Tunde Folawiyo at 65

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to renowned businessman and industrialist, Mr. Tijani Babatunde Folawiyo, as he marks his 65th birthday.
In a heartfelt tribute released in a statement on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the president described the Chairman and CEO of the Yinka Folawiyo Group as “a beacon of Nigeria’s entrepreneurial excellence and a steadfast advocate for national progress.”
President Tinubu praised Folawiyo’s expansive contributions to Nigeria’s economic development, particularly through his group’s strategic investments in energy, manufacturing, and digital infrastructure.
These ventures, he noted, have not only spurred growth in key sectors but also created job opportunities and expanded the country’s industrial capacity.
Highlighting Folawiyo’s boardroom leadership, the President commended his role in shaping major financial and telecom institutions.
“Through his service on the boards of MTN Nigeria, Access Bank Plc, Ecobank Mali, and Coronation Bank, among others, Folawiyo has been instrumental in attracting private capital into Nigeria while empowering countless Nigerians with opportunities to develop skills and excel in a globally competitive economy,” Tinubu stated.
As family, friends, and associates gather to celebrate the businessman’s milestone, President Tinubu offered prayers for his continued health, strength, and prosperity.
He wished Folawiyo many more years of purposeful service to Nigeria and humanity.
