Thunder vs. Wolves GameThread: Minnesota hopes to make this a series

Published 13 hours ago1 minute read

The Minnesota Timberwolves are back home at Target Center and staring down an 0-2 deficit to the Oklahoma City Thunder. It is now or never in making this a competitive Western Conference Finals.

Leading that charge needs to be Anthony Edwards, who is averaging 25 points and nine rebounds. That is fine, I guess. But he’s only shooting 43% from the floor, including a pitiful 23% from three. He needs to step up and lead this team to victory.

Having no trouble stepping up is league MVP Shai-Gilgeous Alexander, who has saved some of his best basketball for this series. He is averaging 34 points, eight assists, and four rebounds.
