Many viewers initially believed the scene featured Kamal Haasan and Trisha, given their seductive chemistry and a flirtatious line from Kamal—“Madam, I am your only Adam”—which hinted at a sexy subplot. But that assumption turned out to be incorrect.

The kiss actually involves Kamal Haasan and actress Abhirami, who plays his wife in the film. Abhirami is best known for her roles in early 2000s films like Charlie Chaplin, and Raktha Kanneeru.

She had previously acted opposite Kamal in Virumaandi and was recently seen in Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja.
