This Summer Has Some Huge Names As Free Agents If Wages Arent An Issue

The 2024/25 Premier League campaign is now well in the rear view and with the 2025/26 domestic fixture lists having now been released for all top flight clubs, fans of all colours up and down the country will be planning out their journey's for the years ahead with hopes that the broadcasters will be nice to them this season when games get bounced around for the television cameras.

Fans will also be keeping a very keen eye on the summer transfer window with sides now able to wheel and deal ahead of the campaigns that are to come, and whilst some clubs have already begun taking full advantage of that and have been active in starting to reshape their first team groupings, others are yet to follow but as was always expected, the speculation rumour mill is now in overdrive and there are still free agents to be considered. For those who like a flutter the transfer market is always good for odds, but many would prefer to kick back and relax with online games like bitcoin casinon and the variety of options that growing market now offers to gamers.

With Liverpool looking to defend their PL crown in the coming year, Arne Slot has been busy and with the capture of Jeremie Frimpong, it is believed that they will soon complete deals for Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez. Manchester United have brought in Matheus Cunha and are chasing Bryan Mbeumo, whilst rivals City have captured the Rayan's Ait-Nouri and Cherki, along with Marcus Bettinelli and Tijjani Reijnders and that will just be the start as the coming weeks progress.

Having mentioned free agents already, there are some incredibly tempting options out there this summer who, in many ways, will be potentially more cost effective solutions for a number of top flight sides.

40 year old goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has had a long PL career and after a seven year spell West Ham United are releasing him. With no apparent retirement in sight his experience alone could make him a very useful back up for a number of top flight teams. Jamie Vardy's rise from non league to Premier League champion has been well covered, and the 38 year old's long Leicester City association is now at an end, but you have to wonder if one of the newly promoted sides will take a punt of him for the dressing room benefits.

There is even 33 year old Christian Eriksen available this summer as he is set to depart Manchester United. If he is not ready to move back abroad just yet, or taste life in a completely new country, there would again be plenty of suitors given the talents that he holds and the fact that there are another good couple of seasons in him yet.

And if we look further afield, the global free agent market right now features names such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Brazilian forward Neymar, Marco Veratti, Paul Pogba, Luka Modric, Jonathan David and even Stefan De Vrij.

There will undoubtedly be plenty of movement as August and the big kick offs nears, and the only real questions left are which players have your club shortlisted as their top targets for this summer, and then, do you rate them and welcome them to your side for the coming campaign.
