(RestaurantNews.com) , sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, today reveals the list of restaurants ranked from No.51 to No.100, ahead of this year’s awards ceremony, which takes place in Turin, Region of Piedmont, Italy on 19 June. The extended 51–100 list features restaurants across six continents and is compiled from the votes of 1,120 independent culinary experts including acclaimed chefs, seasoned food writers and travelling gastronomes. Each has cast their votes for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025, with the full ranking set to be unveiled live on stage two weeks from today.
Europe boasts 20 restaurants in the ranking with new entries including Copenhagen’s Koan (No.91); Cocina Hermanos Torres (No.78) in Barcelona; Txispa (No.85) in Atxondo, Spain and Al Gatto Verde (No.92) in Modena. Jordnær in Copenhagen also re-enters the 51-100 list at No.56.
Restaurants in Germany take a total of four spots on the list, with Restaurant Tim Raue (No.58), Nobelhart & Schmutzig (No.59) and Coda (No.79) all located in Berlin and Tantris in Munich placing at No.73. Spain secures a further three restaurants in the extended list: Quique Dacosta (No.65) in Dénia, Aponiente (No.84) in El Puerto de Santa María and Mugaritz (No.87) in San Sebastian.
Belgium is represented by two restaurants, Willem Hiele (No.62) in Oudenburg and Bozar (No.63) in Brussels, while the UK sees Mountain (No.74) and The Clove Club (No.86) in London secure spots.
Elsewhere in Europe the following restaurants secure a spot: Schloss Schauenstein (No.52) in Fürstenau, Switzerland; Hiša Franko (No.69) in Kobarid, Slovenia; Le Doyenné (No.77) in Saint-Vrain, France and Neolokal (No.100) in Istanbul.
Asia welcomes two new entries, with Chef Tam’s Seasons (No.72) in Macau and Meet the Bund (No.94) in Shanghai joining the list. Singapore is represented by two restaurants: Burnt Ends (No.93) and Labyrinth (No.97). Tokyo sees two entries – Den (No.53) and Sazenka (No.71) – while Onjium (No.57) in Seoul, Fu He Hui (No.64) in Shanghai and Masque (No.68) in Mumbai secure spots.
Cape Town claims three entries on the extended list: La Colombe (No.55), Fyn (No.82) and Salsify at the Roundhouse – a new entry at No.88.
North America celebrates three new entries to the list this year, including Arca (No.67) in Tulum and Huniik (No.89) in Mérida; Atelier Crenn in San Francisco re-enters the list at No.96 and César (No.98) in New York claims a debut spot. Alcalde (No.51) in Guadalajara and Pujol (No.60) in Mexico City also make the ranking along with SingleThread (No.80) in Healdsburg, California and Le Bernardin in New York placing at No.90.
South America secures one new entry from São Paulo with Tuju (No.70) making its debut. In addition, Evvai (No.95) re-enters the 51-100 ranking. El Chato (No.54) and Leo (No.76), both in Bogotá claim places in the extended ranking, along with Oteque (No.81) in Rio de Janeiro and A Casa do Porco (No.83) in São Paulo. Ecuador and Peru each secure one restaurant with Nuema (No.61) in Quito and Mil (No.75) in Cusco respectively.
Saint Peter in Sydney places at No.66 while, for the first time, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants recognises a restaurant in New Zealand on the 51-100 list, with Amisfield Restaurant in Queenstown placing at No.99.

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 list is voted for by 1,120 international restaurant industry experts and well-travelled gourmets who make up The World’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy. The gender-balanced Academy comprises 28 separate regions around the world, each of which has 40 members including a chairperson. No sponsor from the event has any influence over the voting process.
Professional services consultancy Deloitte independently adjudicates The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list, including the ranking from 51-100. The awards ceremony for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 is being held at Lingotto Fiere in Turin on the evening of Thursday 19 June and will also be streamed live on the 50 Best YouTube channel via the link . The announcement of the list and individual awards can be followed via the 50 Best social media channels, with the livestream beginning at 20.00 Turin time and 19.00 UK time.
