The Guardian, CT Productions unveil The Nigeria Summit 2025

Published 9 hours ago3 minute read

As Nigeria marks 65 years of independence, CT Productions, in partnership with The Guardian Nigeria, is proud to present The Nigeria Summit 2025. This gathering of leaders from across the world will unite to chart a bold, sustainable and lucrative path forward for Africa.

The event is scheduled to be held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos Island, on November 5, 2025. It will be a celebration of Nigeria today – a time when the country’s soft power through art, music and culture is in its ascendency like never before. These leaders will be offering their vision for Nigeria and the continent as a whole, and its place in the world for the next five, 10 and 65 years. Fittingly, it was in the Federal Palace Hotel where the Independence declaration was held 65 years ago.

According to the organisers, the summit will unfold across a dynamic two-part program. During the day, we’ll be holding sessions, each with global leaders in that field, that set out a vision for Africa’s economy, culture, innovation and cross-border cooperation.   Connection and cooperation are at the Nigeria Summit’s heart, and there will be ample opportunities to network throughout the day.

The Summit’s day-time programme will focus on the region’s key economic sectors, including finance, energy, manufacturing, technology, governance and the creative industries.

The evening event is a Black Tie Evening Gala: Cocktails & Dinner that will bring together all the delegates and speakers for a keynote speech, cocktails and dinner.

Alongside the event, the partners will also amplify the message through several platforms. CT Productions will highlight insights from ‘The World Ahead 2025’, from The Economist’s licensed edition by CT Productions, The Economist weekly magazine, as well as their in-house publication FOCUS magazine.

Camelia Oros Tsarouchis, Managing Director, CT Productions, said: “With The Guardian Nigeria in partnership, we’re building on all of our strengths to bring together an incredible range of speakers and panellists, delegates and sponsors, that will genuinely shape business in and with Nigeria, and consequently across the globe.

“As the licensee for The Economist’s ‘The World Ahead’, we can bring a truly global perspective to this vibrant and fast-growing economy.”

Fellow board member organiser, Anita Athena Ibru, Chief Strategy Officer of The Guardian Nigeria, said: “With CT Productions, this event brings together a unique team that has the contacts and expertise for a truly influential global summit, but one that is rooted in Lagos, the centre of commerce in Nigeria. The Nigeria Summit 2025 will be a landmark event and one that will resonate long into the future.

“Many of the panellists and speakers will also feature in our special edition publication that honours 65 influential figures in governance, innovation, business and civil society.

“We are inviting people to join the conversation that redefines Africa’s economic and cultural future.”

With its unique positioning, the summit reflects the strength of the CT Productions–Guardian Nigeria partnership, combining an international perspective with national relevance. Together, the platforms provide a powerful voice for Nigeria and Africa, locally, continentally, and globally.

The event is designed for leaders and innovators who to be part of the conversation about Nigeria’s future, and who want to forge big ideas for a better future.

This flagship event brings together prominent business leaders, innovators, politicians and creative minds from across the globe for in-person discussions that place Nigeria and Africa at the centre of commerce.
