'Teen Mom' News Pile: Ashley Jones Annihilates Amber Portwood on TikTok; Jenelle Evans Reveals Plans to Change Her Kids' Last Names & More

Published 18 hours ago11 minute read
“Hold my earrings. I’m about to commit a murder-by-words on this chick!”

From taking your castmate to task, to taking yet another opportunity to exploit your kids, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the Teen Mom franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest , and Teen Mom 2 news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.

Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…

“Amber, girl, haven’t you learned yet that in a battle of wits you are UNARMED, girl!?”

It’s been about a month since ‘Teen Mom’ stars Ashley and Amber went head-to-head on TikTok Live, and, despite Ashley just cooking Amber in her posts in the days after, Amber has continued to bring up Ashley during her very frequent late-night TikTok Live sessions.

On Friday, Ashley decided to address Amber’s recent statements about her— and she let The Couched One absolutely have it.

“I genuinely thought this Amber Portwood situation was done, but what do I wake up to? Another three-hour Live that she’s done about me at 3 a.m. so now I have some things to say,” Ashley began.

Ashley started by addressing the fact that Amber is frequently bragging about how much money she has made from ‘Teen Mom,’ including recent claims by Amber that she’s pocketed tens of millions of dollars from her time on the show.

“You’ve made $30 million or whatever and you still cannot buy either of your children’s love,” Ashley said. “You still cannot buy the love of all these men you keep having in and out of your life like a hotel revolving door.”

“Uhhh I would like to go on record and say that Amber can very much still buy my love. Call me, Ambie! Mamber forever!”

Ashley was not done— next bringing up the fact that both of Amber’s kids— 17-year-old Leah and seven-year-old James— live with their fathers, and that she has limited (or no) access to them.

“You still cannot bribe a judge to give you custody or visitation!” Ashley said. (Amber does have joint custody of Leah; however, Leah refuses to see or speak to Amber so she has no visitation.)

“So that $30 million is not working for you as hard as you think!” Ashley said.

“Come on now, Ash. We all know that there’s nothing working hard over here.”

Ashley then lashed out at the fact that Amber has repeatedly called her “broke” (with Amber even once making fun of the fact that Ashley rents an apartment instead of owning a home).

“Calling me broke is not the dig that you think it is,” she said. “Because what I do know is that when I die, my daughter will remember me as a great mother, someone who loved and supported her. Not someone who chose men over her. Not someone who gave her insecurities. Not someone who spoke to her like she was a dog on the streets.”

“She’s got you there, Ma!”

Ashley continued her verbal whomping of Amber.

“She will remember me as someone who showed up and showed out for her, any time, any place,” Ashley said. “And that is what any mother wants.

“I will die with no money in my pocket, as long as what’s written on my headstone is ‘beloved mother.'”

“Resist the urge to scream ‘Hell yeah!’…resist the urge to scream ‘hell yeah!’….”

Ashley advised her nemesis to take all of the “millions” Amber claims to have made “to the grave.”

“Because that’s the only thing that’s going to be changing your diapers when you are s**ty on your deathbed,” Ashley said. “I don’t think your daughter is coming. I don’t think your son is coming. So, I’m happy you made that money because you are going to need it. Nursing homes are very expensive. I don’t think they care about you enough to take money out of their own pocket and help you.

“And so, I might be broke right now, but I am so rich in spirit,” Ashley continued. “… the money is the only thing that you’ve had over 16 years and that’s what makes you feel superior. But I’m a mother. And all I ever needed was my child’s love.”

All of our faces right now after listening to Ashley absolutely torch Amber once again…

“The Evans Griffith Eason family just doesn’t have a nice ring to it!”

Jenelle took a break from…whatever it is that she does all day.. to provide some updates on her eldest son, Jace, revealing how he’s been doing since he came home in early June after Jenelle sent him to Florida to live with his long-lost father, . (The Ashley broke the news that Jace was back with Jenelle after only a few weeks with his dad.)

In a video posted to Facebook on Friday, Jenelle declared that Andrew is “an active alcoholic.”

“We didn’t know that. We thought he changed and he didn’t so Jace just wanted to come home,” Jenelle said. (As The Ashley told you, Jenelle sent Jace to live with Andrew solo and had never actually checked out where Jace would be living.)

“What was I supposed to do? Like, GO to Andrew’s with the kid and see for myself what the situation was?”

Since Jace’s return to Nevada, Jenelle told People that she’s “cherishing” her time with the teen.

“It’s really crazy because you see the transition from a little boy to a young man, and he’ll be 16 in August, and it’s just really crazy,” she said. “It just flies by so quick. So I’m just really cherishing every moment I can before he turns 18 and decides to leave.”

“Tell ’em how I cherish you and stuff, Jack…er I mean Jace!”

In a vlog posted this week, Jenelle revealed that one of the next tasks she plans to tackle is getting all of her kids’ last names changed to her last name, Evans, which she recently had reinstated after her divorce.

“I’m going to look into getting the kids’ names changed, all to my name, my last name,” she said. “We’ll see how that goes.”

As fans know, all three of Jenelle’s kids have different last names. While Jace has the last name of Evans, Jenelle’s middle son Kaiser has the last name of his father, . Jenelle’s daughter, Ensley, has the last name of her father .

“…but I imagine he’ll start aggressively raking something?”

Since Nathan is currently in prison and has no custodial rights to Kaiser, she shouldn’t have any issues getting his last name changed from Griffith to Evans.

According to Nevada’s website regarding child name changes, only one parent’s consent is needed if the second parent has no legal rights to the child. Kaiser just turned 11 so the court doesn’t need his consent to have his name changed. (Any child over the age of 14 needs to consent to the name change.)

As for Ensley, though, David’s rights have not been terminated, even though Jenelle has full custody currently. That may make changing Ensley’s last name a challenge.

“If one parent will not agree to have a child’s name changed, the other parent can file papers to have a judge legally change the child’s name,” the website states. “The non-consenting parent must be served with copies of the name change papers and given a chance to object. A judge may or may not grant a child’s name change without the other parent’s consent.

“Notifying a parent about a child’s proposed name change cannot be avoided just because the parent is not involved in the child’s life or the parent’s location is unknown.”

“You guys can make fun of me for my love of animal print and black paint all you want, but can we PLEASE forget I ever showed my face on that toxic waste dump of a show?”

says she has come a long way since her days of wearing zebra sweatshirts and complaining about her ex on ‘Teen Mom 2’, but the  star says that a lot of people continue to only see her as the “girl from ‘Teen Mom,’ despite her leaving the franchise nearly five years ago.

In a new interview with Realtor.com, Chelsea, who has hosted HGTV’s with husband since 2023, recalled the early days of her reality TV career and how much she’s changed since then.

“Full disclosure, I still love my spray tans, extensions and wearing the occasional beanie.”

While fans met Chelsea as a teen on “16 and Pregnant,” on which she welcomed daughter Aubree with then-boyfriend , she went on to star on ‘Teen Mom 2,’ where she later met, married and had children with Cole, before the pair announced in 2020 that they were leaving the series.

“I think it’s just such a common thing for people to feel like they are always tied to something in their life, but it was just motivation for me to want something more,” she said.

Chelsea also admitted to the outlet that before she left ‘Teen Mom 2,’ she reached out to HGTV via Instagram DM, suggesting that the network follow along to document her and Cole’s “homebuilding adventures” in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

“Let that be a lesson for you kids, always shoot your shot…especially if it may get you off of MTV.”

The Season 3 finale of ‘Down Home Fab’ aired earlier this week, right on the heels of Chelsea and Cole competing on Season 6 of HGTV’s fan-favorite competition series . As fans know, the couple also co-own a brick-and-mortar decor and furniture store, , in Tea, South Dakota, which opened in 2024.

“We are busy, busy,” Chelsea told the website. “Every day is different and while I wish we were the organized type, we are not. It’s just pure chaos at all times, but family time is our biggest priority. We try to make sure weekends are so family-focused.”

“This life that I am living now is what I would dream about back then,” Chelsea added. “It makes me emotional.”

Jenelle Evans Reveals Why She Doesn’t Like David Eason’s Girlfriend Kenleigh Heatwole

“I’ll get you, my swamp ex…and your little giiiiiirlfriend too!”

Jenelle is now officially divorced from David– but that hasn’t stopped her from slamming the (next?) Mrs. David Eason!

During an Instagram Q&A session this week, Jenelle was asked how she feels about Kenleigh, the girl whom David began shacking up with since shortly after he was booted from Jenelle’s home on The Land last year. Over the course of David and Kenleigh’s relationship, Jenelle and Kenleigh have exchanged jabs via The Interwebs, but on Wednesday Jenelle held nothing back when asked for her thoughts on Kenleigh.

“[I] don’t like her,” Jenelle said. “From day 1 of them being together she made fun of me for having OF [OnlyFans].”

“Well Juh-nelle. Have ya seen ya OnlyFans?!”

Jenelle continued to list the reasons she dislikes Kenleigh.

“Then she posted more from there. She should have stayed out of my business and I wouldn’t have any judgement towards her,” Jenelle wrote. “Her intentions show clearly the type of person she is….clout chaser. [I’m] sick of her constantly commenting on my life when I never even met this girl.”

Kenleigh also did an Instagram Q&A this week, revealing that she was open to being around Jenelle if it helped David see his daughter Ensley.

“Would you be willing to meet with David’s ex if it meant you guys could start having Ensley visit/stay?” someone asked Kenleigh, to which she replied, “100%.”

“Tori, have your drumsticks ready in case this chick tries to talk to me.”

Now that David is officially sans-legal soulmate, thanks to his divorce from Jenelle becoming legal last week, Kenleigh revealed that she and David haven’t ruled out getting married. When asked if she wants to get married one day, Kenleigh wrote that she is “undecided.”

“It’s just paper really,” she said of a legal marriage, later stating that David has changed his mind about getting hitched again. (Last year, he declared that he would never get married again after splitting with Jenelle.)

“I’ll rake my way down the aisle for a third time if it keeps me from sleeping under a bridge. Why not?”

While Kenleigh stated that she’s “undecided” on whether she wants to have children someday, David wrote that he might want to spawn again “maybe someday.”

“Lawd have mercy, haven’t ya neglected enough of ya kids, David!? Ya really need more?”
