The county boss took to social media to stand in solidarity with her friend, sharing a moving message of support.
"My deepest condolences to my sister Hon Beatrice Elachi on the loss of your dear son, Elvis Murakana. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family in this time of great sadness. May the Lord grant you sustaining grace, peace, and comfort through this difficult time," she wrote.
Elvis was announced dead on Tuesday, March 25, though the cause of his death was not immediately disclosed.
However, unverified reports suggested that he succumbed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) following a tragic road accident.
Until his passing, little was publicly known about Elvis, who was one of Elachi’s four children.
Initial reports indicate that he was involved in a crash two days before his death and was admitted to an ICU in a Nairobi hospital, where he fought for his life.
Elachi's family has yet to release an official statement detailing the circumstances of his passing.
Messages of condolences have continued to pour in, with leaders and Kenyans rallying behind Elachi in this difficult time.
