Leyma Basquet Coruna (Liga Endesa) signed 25-year-old 178cm point guard Didac Cuevas for the upcoming season. Cuevas, who previously played for Longevida San Pablo Burgos in the Primera FEB, averaged 6.5ppg, 3.0rpg, and 3.1apg in 34 games last season. He helped his team win the cup and finish at the top of the regular season standings. Cuevas was named to the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Primera FEB All-Domestic Players Team, marking a successful year in his career. In the 2023-24 season, he played for Zaragoza in Liga Endesa, averaging 2.9ppg, 1.2rpg, and 1.6apg in 14 games. Cuevas also had a brief stint with Grupo Ureta Tizona Burgos.
He has played previously for seven other teams: Joventut, FC Barcelona Lassa 2nd team, Melilla, Prat, Clavijo, Arenys, and Prat.
Among many awards, he won the Spanish LEB Silver Play-Off championship title in 2021. Cuevas was also selected to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Guard of the Year in 2022.
