Coviran Granada (Liga Endesa) agreed terms with 33-year old American center Babatunde Olumuyiwa (203cm-100kg-1992, college: USC Upstate) for the new 2025-26 season. He played last season at Real Betis in the Primera FEB. In 23 games, he had 6.0ppg and 3.5rpg, helping them win the Primera FEB title. The previous (2024) summer, he played at Panteras (LNBP) in the Mexican league.
Olumuyiwa's career allowed him to visit four different continents. Olumuyiwa tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played professionally also in Japan (Excellence), Mexico (Cerveceros) and Spain (MoraBanc Andorra, BAXI Manresa, Albacete, Clavijo and Palma Fibwi).
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Honorable Mention back in 2018.
Olumuyiwa graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2014 and it'll be his 12th season as a pro player.
