Sony Music UK to host Earthfest Music Summit | Labels | Music Week
The Earthfest Music Summit takes place on Thursday (June 6) with a full-day programme dedicated to tackling the climate crisis.
Taking place at Sony Music UK in Kings Cross, London, the summit will explore the music industry's role in building a greener future.
Hosted by journalist and climate advocate Greg Cochrane, the summit will open with an exclusive fireside chat featuring drummer Stewart Copeland (The Police).
Madame Gandhi and Philip Selway (Radiohead) will represent EarthPercent. They will be joined by experts from Music Declares Emergency, The Music Climate Pact, Julie’s Bicycle, Murmur, Greening Of Streaming, Sony Music, Universal, Warner Music, Ninja Tune, Warp and many more.
Dale Vince (Ecotricity Founder) and Claire O’Neill (A Greener Future) will open the debate on the live industry, while the day will conclude with a performance from Natural Symphony.
