“For many years, I have been associated with soccer. You have probably seen me in (different) kits. I have worn a lot of kits in my life. But now I am at a point in my life that I am trying to find the kit that fits. The kit with the hit,” he said.

“You know what I am trying to talk about. One team that feels like me. I am talking about Swansea City. I am not a player. I am an owner. We are coming to a hood near you.”

Snoop Dogg now joins a growing list of global movie stars and athletes who have invested in football clubs.

They include Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney (owners of Wrexham AFC), Michael B. Jordan (co-owner of AFC Bournemouth), Tom Brady (investor in Birmingham City), and Natalie Portman (co-founder of Angel City FC).
