SINGAPORE -- Seraya Partners, a Singapore-based private equity firm, is launching a digital infrastructure vehicle in Japan focused on the country's booming data centers and broader telecommunication assets, according to the chief executive of the new firm.
In a recent interview with Nikkei Asia, Matthias Vukovich, CEO of Tokyo-based AQX, said it will invest in telecommunication towers, antenna systems, as well as terrestrial and subsea optical fiber cables, and that these assets could be shared by multiple telecom operators and artificial intelligence service operators.
