Singapore Hosts Eighth Africa Business Forum with 700 Global Leaders | News Ghana
The eighth edition of the forum, scheduled for August 26 to 28, 2025, aims to foster strategic partnerships and investments under the theme “Bridging Capabilities, Charting Sustainable Growth.”
Discussions will focus on Africa’s economic integration, the roles of fintech and logistics, and solutions for urban development. Enterprise Singapore will facilitate business matching sessions to encourage deals between African and Singaporean companies. “We’re seeing growing interest in emerging areas such as carbon markets,” said Rahul Ghosh, Director for Middle East and Africa at EnterpriseSG. “By bringing together businesses across Africa and Asia, ASBF 2025 will be the catalyst for strategic partnerships and investments.”
Singapore’s Minister for Trade Relations Grace Fu will deliver the opening address. African perspectives will be provided by leaders including Samaila Zubairu and Stephen Jennings. The event occurs amid a fragmented global trade environment. Trade between Africa and Singapore reached $12.4 billion in 2023, while Singapore’s cumulative foreign direct investment into Africa stood at $24.0 billion as of 2022.
