Still, that shouldn’t take away from the Thunder’s achievement, as they played outstanding basketball throughout the entire season. In this decisive game, once again, their best player was Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who finished with 29 points, 12 assists, and five rebounds.

His outstanding performances in the Finals led to the Canadian being named Finals MVP, marking his third MVP honor of the season.
