Tributes continue to pour in for Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as he marked another year celebrating his impactful leadership and progress in Africa’s commercial capital.

In a goodwill message, renowned businessman and member of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr Ayo Ogunsan, has congratulations Sanwo-Olu, describing him as a visionary leader, whose tenure has elevated the state.

Ogunsan lauded his dedication to infrastructural renewal, sustainable transportation, urban regeneration, youth empowerment, and robust security architecture that have transformed Lagos into a thriving, global megacity.

“On behalf of my family, associates, and private sector stakeholders in Lagos, I congratulate His Excellency, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on his birthday. Today, we celebrate not just the man, but the legacy he is building. His purposeful leadership, people-centred policies, and commitment to security and economic growth have left marks on the landscape of Lagos,” the statement read.

As a member of Lagos State Security Trust Fund, Ogunsan noted that Sanwo-Olu’s strategic investments in security have greatly enhanced safety and investor confidence.

His words: “Governor Sanwo-Olu’s support for LSSTF has been instrumental in improving security infrastructure, empowering our security agencies, and making Lagos a safer place for residents, businesses, and visitors. His collaborative approach with the private sector has strengthened the social contract and reinforced the state’s reputation as the heartbeat of Nigeria’s economy.”

While praying for the governor’s continued good health, wisdom, and divine guidance, he urged Lagosians to continue supporting the administration’s vision for a greater Lagos.

“Governor Sanwo-Olu’s leadership has been commended for the delivery of landmark projects, such as Blue Line Rail, ongoing Red Line Rail, Lekki Deep Sea Port, Imota Rice Mill, road expansions, and consistent support for MSMEs, among others. Sanwo-Olu is a leader whose impact will resonate for generations to come,” he added.
