Victory Venkatesh's latest film, 'Sankranthiki Vasthunam,' was a major success since its release during the Sankranti festive window on January 14, 2025. The action-comedy film performed exceptionally well at the box office and interestingly is making its television release before hitting the digital space.
'Sankranthiki Vasthunam' is set to premiere on TV channel

on March 1, 2025, before its availability on OTT platforms. On X (formerly Twitter) the official handle of the TV channel, they wrote, "The blockbuster date of #SankranthikiVasthunnam is 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝟏𝐬𝐭".

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film was well received by the audience for its engaging storyline and humour. The film's plot revolves around YD Raju, a former IPS officer who leads a quiet life in a village with his wife. When a high-profile kidnapping case arises, his ex-girlfriend, now an investigating officer, seeks his help. As they team up to solve the case, Raju's wife grows suspicious of his loyalty and decides to join them, leading to a comedic and action-packed adventure.

'Sankranthiki Vasthunam' features a talented cast that includes Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh alongside Venkatesh. The film also includes Srinivasa Reddy, Sai Kumar, Upendra Limaye, Raghu Babu, Naresh, and others in key roles.

After its television debut, 'Sankranthiki Vasthunam' will be available for streaming on Zee5. The film's digital rights were acquired by Zee5.
The music of the film is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo and the cinematography is by Sameer Reddy.
The makers have also announced the film to have a sequel which is expected to be released during Sankranti 2027.
