Royal Insider Exposes Sarah Ferguson's Shock Split from Andrew's Home

Buckingham Palace recently announced a significant change in the status of Prince Andrew, confirming that King Charles has initiated a formal process to divest his younger brother of his royal style, titles, and honours. Consequently, the individual previously known as Prince Andrew will now be referred to as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. This development also includes his relocation from Royal Lodge in Windsor, his residence since 2003, to accommodation on the monarch's private Sandringham estate. This move follows his widely publicized association with the late convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein, allegations which Andrew continues to deny.
Amidst these changes, a key revelation has emerged regarding Andrew's former wife, Sarah Ferguson, who was also stripped of her duchess title. Despite having shared the 30-bedroom Windsor mansion with Andrew for many years, Sarah will not be accompanying him to his new residence. While public speculation regarding her decision is high, a close friend of Sarah's, Lizzie Cundy, provided a concise explanation during an appearance on Channel 5's Vanessa programme. Cundy stated, "She doesn't want to live with Andrew. Now she wants to draw the line and hopefully move on from this."
Lizzie Cundy also highlighted Sarah Ferguson's regret over past errors, particularly a controversial 2011 email sent to Jeffrey Epstein following his release from prison for child sex offences. In this email, Sarah referred to Epstein as her "supreme friend" and offered an apology for publicly criticising him in a media interview. The leakage of this email last month led to Sarah being dropped from multiple charities where she had served as an ambassador. Her spokesperson subsequently asserted that the email was sent out of fear of being sued for defamation.
Speaking further on the Channel 5 chat show, Lizzie Cundy reflected on Sarah's experiences, noting, "I think she's had a rough ride with it, I'm not saying get the violins out, but it has been tough for her. She's made the most huge silly mistakes... and no one knows that more than Sarah Ferguson today." The 66-year-old has maintained a low profile since the scandal surrounding her email to Epstein broke just weeks prior. Her future living arrangements upon her departure from Royal Lodge remain uncertain.
