Residents of Holugho Sub-County in Garissa County are crying foul over a Saturday incident in Kurunjo village where one leader was killed and 15 others seriously injured in an attack. The residents claim a convoy of two vehicles belonging to security officers from Holugho was enroute to Boni Forest and made a stopover in the village. According to the residents the officers rounded-up pastoralists who were looking after their livestock and demanded information regarding the whereabouts of suspected Al shabaab terrorists.
