As well as making “a real, visible contribution to the regeneration of the town centre, fitting to the site’s prominent location.”
The consultation will remain open until 25 May, after which CERT will finalise its proposals ahead of submitting a planning application to Salford City Council.
CERT sees the proposals as a significant contribution to The Eccles Vision – Salford City Council’s plan to revitalise the town centre.
As Stephen Oster, Head of Acquisitions and Development at CERT, comments: “Our public consultation for One Albert Street aims to support the reinvigoration of the town, taking local opinion onboard to shape the next stage of our plans to support a vibrant neighbourhood for the people of Eccles.
“We welcome the local community’s input so that we can shape our proposals before we submit a planning application in the near future.”
The public consultation for One Albert Street will begin on Wednesday 14 May, until Sunday 25 May – and can be found here.
As part of its consultation process, the developer is now seeking local views to help shape the plans before submitting a formal application to the council.
