Replacing Acura intercooler

This bulletin applies to 2019-2020 Acura RDX and 2021 TLX vehicles. The MIL may be flashing accompanied by a loss of power.
This is most common in hot, humid regions or after a period of rainfall. Humid air within the intake passage may condense and accumulate moisture during steady driving which enters the engine and may cause a misfire and a flashing MIL.
Update the PGM-FI software to the latest versions before starting the repair. Clear any DTCs. Replace the intercooler, intercooler outlet pipe assembly and intercooler outlet hose, following service manual procedures. The intercooler kit is available as P/N 08734-0013.
