Realme GT 7 Series Launched with Large Batteries

Realme has officially launched its new GT 7 series of smartphones, including the Realme GT 7, Realme GT 7T, and a special Realme GT 7 Dream Edition, in India and global markets. These new devices are distinguished by their powerful MediaTek Dimensity chipsets and exceptionally large 7,000mAh battery units that support 120W fast charging. The Realme GT 7 features a triple rear camera system, while the GT 7T is equipped with a dual rear camera setup.
The Realme GT 7 is priced in India starting at Rs. 39,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs Rs. 42,999, and the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model is priced at Rs. 46,999. It is available in IceSense Black and IceSense Blue. With bank offers, customers can acquire the Realme GT 7 from a starting price of Rs. 34,999. Globally, the Realme GT 7 starts at €749.99 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version, available in black and blue. Pre-booking for the lineup has commenced in India, with sales beginning May 30 via Amazon and Realme's online store. Global preorders are also open through Realme's website for European and Indian markets.
The Realme GT 7 is a dual SIM (nano+eSIM) device running on Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0. It showcases a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,264x2,780 pixels) AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 6,000 nits, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Under the hood, it packs an octa-core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, making it the first smartphone in India with this processor. It supports up to 12GB of RAM and a maximum of 512GB storage and is touted to provide a stable 120fps frame rate for games like PUBG and BGMI. The global version is also powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e.
For photography, the Realme GT 7 boasts a triple camera setup on the rear: a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 1.56-inch primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel S5KJN5 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom capabilities, and an 8-megapixel OV08D10 ultra-wide camera. The front features a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera supports 4K slow-motion video recording at 120fps, while the front camera can record 4K videos at 60fps. An optical fingerprint scanner is hidden beneath its display.
A key highlight is the massive 7,000mAh battery, which Realme claims can offer up to 63.43 hours of standby time or up to 20.66 hours of YouTube playback on a single charge in the Indian variant. The global variant is claimed to last up to three days with light usage or up to seven hours with intense gaming. It supports 120W wired fast charging, capable of charging the battery from 1% to 50% in 14 minutes and to 100% in 40 minutes. The phone also features a Smart Bypass charging method to minimize battery wear during high-temperature and gaming situations. Wireless charging is not supported. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band GPS, NFC, and Wi-Fi 7. The device has an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance and includes AI-based features like AI Glare Removal, AI Landscape+, and AI Translator. The Indian model measures 162.42x76.13x8.30mm and weighs 206 grams, while the global model is stated to be 8.3mm thick.
The Realme GT 7T is priced in India at Rs. 34,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB variants are priced at Rs. 37,999 and Rs. 41,999, respectively. It comes in IceSense Black, IceSense Blue, and Racing Yellow. With bank offers, its effective starting price is Rs. 28,999. Sales in India begin on May 30. Globally, the GT 7T starts at €649.99 for a 12GB/256GB configuration and is available in an additional yellow color option.
The Realme GT 7T shares the same SIM, software, 32MP selfie camera, 7,000mAh battery, and 120W charging speed as the Realme GT 7. It features a 6.80-inch (1,280x2,800 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The global version's display has a slightly larger 6.8-inch screen with a small bump in resolution, but its peak brightness is limited to 1,800 nits. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Max chipset, with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, and includes a 7,700mm sq single-unit vapour chamber for thermal management. For optics, the GT 7T has a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 1.56-inch main sensor and an 8-megapixel OV08D10 ultra-wide-angle camera, omitting the telephoto lens found on the GT 7. Connectivity options for the Indian model include Bluetooth 6, dual-band GPS, NFC, and Wi-Fi 6. The Indian variant measures around 162.42×75.97×8.88mm and weighs about 205 grams, while the global version is stated to be 8.25mm thick.
A standout in the lineup is the Realme GT 7 Dream Edition, a special edition smartphone launched in association with Aston Martin's F1 Team. This model boasts Aston Martin's signature green color, a silver wing logo on the back, and 'Formula One Team' inscribed in silver. It comes in a special box that includes an F1 racecar-themed SIM card pin and a Silver Wing phone case resembling Aston Martin F1 racecars. The Dream Edition also offers custom wallpapers, icons, and themes. It retains the core specifications of the Realme GT 7 but is configured with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. In India, the Realme GT 7 Dream Edition is available in a single 16GB RAM + 512GB storage option priced at Rs. 49,999, with sales starting June 13. Globally, this edition with 16GB/512GB is priced at €899.99.
Realme is promising four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates for both the Realme GT 7 and Realme GT 7T. Both models are claimed to feature the world's first graphene-based IceSense design for improved thermal performance. Despite the large battery capacity, Realme has managed to keep the devices relatively slim. For comparison, the global text notes the GT 7 is 8.3mm thick and the GT 7T is 8.25mm thick, comparable to the iPhone 16 Pro (8.25mm thick with a 3,582mAh battery) and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (8.2mm thick with a 5,000mAh battery), underscoring the efficient design incorporating the 7,000mAh battery.
