Jack Reacher has been spotted out and about in the real-world in our first look at the upcoming spin-off, . The action series has proven to be a massive hit for , with the studio and streamer now looking to branch out into a Reacher shared universe, starting with Neagley starring Maria Sten as Frances Neagley. And Amazon is wasting no time in getting the spin-off to screens.

While it had not been confirmed that ’s Jack Reacher would appear alongside Sten’s Neagley in the spin-off series, it has now been revealed that he absolutely will, with the pair spotting filming scenes for the show during a recent face-off between the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago White Sox at Chicago's Wrigley Field (via MLB). While the images and footage don’t give much away, Ritchson is sporting his usual stoic expression which gives way to a smirk as he and Neagley no doubt concoct some sort of clever plan.

The Neagley spin-off was given a series order by Amazon back in October last year. The show will see Maria Sten return as Frances Neagley, with the rest of the cast comprised of Greyston Holt (The Night Agent, Riverdale), Jasper Jones (King Ivory), Adeline Rudolph (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Mortal Kombat 2), Matthew Del Negro (Mayor of Kingstown, City on a Hill), and Damon Herriman (Justified, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), with Ritchson making a cameo.

Maria Sten has previously offered some insight into what Reacher fans can expect from the spin-off. Speaking with Collider, she heaped praise on the direction of the series and character, with the show putting Neagley front-and-center as she fights to find the truth after someone from her past is mysteriously killed.

“Neagley has a lot going on in her life. She has a history, and she has a life lived. She has some quite severe personal issues of her own that she’s grappling with. We just get to know her better and see her grapple with these issues. For anybody who likes the character, I think it’ll be nice to get to know her a little bit better. And we have rounded up such a great cast for this season of Neagley. I’m just thrilled to get going and sink my teeth in.

I’m so impressed with what they were able to do with the scripts for this Neagley show. It’s so its own thing, but of course, true to the Reacher spirit. It’s Neagley. It’s about her. It certainly is about what’s going on in her personal life, as well as her professional life. Most of the time, for people like this, the two tend to overlap. So, I’m just excited to dive into that and explore the emotional life of the character, as well as the badass private investigator work that she will be doing.”
