slow over rate during last night's match against
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Lucknow.This marked the team's second offence in the 2025 season and therefore the skipper has been fined of Rs 24 lakh. Meanwhile, the rest of the members of the Playing XI, including the Impact Player, were each individually fined either Rs 6 lakh or 25 per cent of their respective
match fees, whichever is lesser.

Pat Cummins, too, has been fined Rs 12 lakh since it was his team's first offence of the season.
"As it was his team’s first offence of the season under Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which pertains to minimum over-rate offences, Cummins was fined INR 12 Lakh," the IPL said.

Coming to the match, in a commanding performance, SRH defeated RCB by 42 runs in the IPL on Friday in Lucknow. SRH set a target of 232 runs, finishing their innings at 231/6, with
Ishan Kishan leading the way with an impressive 94- off 48 balls. RCB struggled in their chase, bowled out for 189, with Philip Salt scoring 62 and
Virat Kohli contributing 43 runs.
