PUMA is new UP Fighting Maroons outfitter
PUMA is the new outfitter for the reigning UAAP champion University of the Philippines following the official signing on Saturday at the PUMA Flagship Store at SM North EDSA.
As part of PUMA's initiative to re-affirm its presence in Philippine basketball, the brand will outfit the Fighting Maroons' athletic gear, which are, of course, designed to support excellent performance during trainings and competitions.

The partnership marks a significant milestone for both PUMA and State U, uniting their shared commitment to performance excellence.
“We’re proud to equip the UP Fighting Maroons with elite performance gear. A championship team deserves only the best,” said PUMA Philippines Country Manager and proud UP alumnus Paolo Misa.
“At PUMA, we believe greatness lives within each athlete, and the right support brings it to life.”
Beyond providing the players with industry-leading apparel, Misa said PUMA aims to build a long-term relationship with UP - one that’s built on trust, grit, and the pursuit of excellence.
“As part of our global ‘Go Wild’ initiative, we’re here to unleash the greatness within and help athletes experience the true highs of sport,” said Misa. “The UP Fighting Maroons’ best is yet to come — and we’re honored to be on this journey with them.”
The Fighting Maroons are bound for a month-long training camp in Serbia in preparation for their title defense in the looming UAAP Season 88.
Once they return, they have one last assignment to play in the elimination round of the 2025 Playtime Cares Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup where they currently sport a 3-2 slate.
