President Trump imposes new tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China
KSNF/KODE — President Trump enacts 25-percent tariffs against two North American allies—and a 10-percent tariff on one of the nation’s chief trade rivals.
The tariffs against Canada and Mexico are tied to addressing illegal immigration and fentanyl smuggling—while the move against China is also tied to fentanyl.
These new tariffs are expected to impact Canadian energy products—including oil and gas for home heating.
