Holders France secured their second win of the tournament behind a stellar display from Justine Loubens. She shot 7-of-11 from the field for her game-high 15 points, pulling down five offensive rebounds and 6 in total. Loubens was also a menace defensively, helping herself to two steals as France beat Montenegro 76-35.
Despite falling to Belgium 69-61 on the second day, Latvia’s Anna Liepina provided a threat at both ends of the floor. Liepina had 19 points and 12 rebounds, with six of those on the offensive glass as well as 4 assists, for another appearance in the Top Performers lineup.
Jovana Popovic stood out across the board, as she had 12 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for an efficiency rating of 20 as Serbia ticked the win column at the second time of asking, dismissing Israel 78-55.
Israel's Maya Zilbershlag was outstanding in defeat with the talented guard putting up 25 points - drained all three of her three-point attempts - to go with 4 rebounds for an efficiency rating of 19.
The hot streak of Finland’s Anna Gardziella continued as she makes her second appearance in the Top Performers in as many days, with a statline of 20 points, going 5-of-10 from three-point land, and 53 percent from the field in Finland’s 64-47 victory over Greece.
