Nasarawa state police command has arrested a fake soldier identified as Godswill Achilli, in military camouflage in Keffi local government of Nasarawa state for arm robbery. 

A statement by the Police Public Relations Office (PPRO), SP Ramhan Nansel and made available to newsmen in Lafia on Sunday, said, “Operatives attached to Angwan Lambu Division, Keffi, Nasarawa state, have arrested a fake soldier and armed robbery suspect following a successful intelligence-led operation. The suspect, identified as Godswill Achili, was apprehended while dressed in military camouflage.

“The suspect identified as Gods2ill A chilli was apprehended while dressed in military camouflage.

“Upon interrogation, he confessed to impersonating a soldier and engaging in armed robbery. Further investigations revealed that he is a member of a criminal syndicate operating in both the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Nasarawa state.

“The syndicate operates wearing full military uniforms, using a black, unregistered Toyota Avalon, targeting unsuspecting members of the public-particularly youth and students traveling between Keffi, New Karu, and the FCT.”
