Published 2 weeks ago2 minute read

Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey announced today that the team has signed Dominick Barlow to a two-way contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Barlow, 22, joins the 76ers after averaging 4.2 points on 53.1-percent shooting, 2.4 rebounds, and 10.7 minutes in 35 games (one start) with Atlanta in 2024-25. Originally signed to a two-way contract by the Hawks on July 30, 2024, Barlow later signed a standard contract with the franchise on March 4. The New Jersey native tallied 13 points on 4-of-4 shooting (1-1 3FG, 4-4 FT) and a season-high 10 rebounds against Philadelphia on March 23, making him the only NBA player in the league last season to notch a double-double without a single miss from the floor.

In 18 G League appearances last season with College Park, Barlow produced 20.0 points on 57.2-percent shooting, 8.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.2 blocked shots. He reached the 20-point mark in 11 of his 18 contests.

Originally signed to a two-way contract by San Antonio as an undrafted free agent on July 10, 2022, Barlow has produced 4.2 points on 51.9-percent shooting and 3.1 rebounds in 96 career games (five starts) over three NBA seasons with the Spurs (2022-24) and Hawks (2024-25). He has appeared in 30 career G League contests (23 starts) with the Austin Spurs and College Park Skyhawks, averaging 18.2 points on 56.1-percent shooting, 8.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks in 30.8 minutes per contest.

In a related move, the 76ers requested waivers for Alex Reese. Reese played in 14 games with the 76ers last season, averaging 5.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 15.3 minutes per game.
