Pastor Ng'ang'a Rebukes Kenyans after Insulting Bishop Mwai: "Wapeleke Kamiti"
Neno Evangelism Centre preacher James Ng'ang'a has lashed out at Kenyans who bashed Bishop Edward Mwai for his dalliance with President William Ruto.

The head of state visited the Jesus Winner Ministry church in Roysambu, Nairobi on Sunday, March 2, and made several pledges.
Ruto pledged a personal KSh 20 million contribution and an additional KSh 100 million from his friends to build an ultramodern church.
He further promised to give the church a 10-acre piece of land. The land is associated with the collapsed Uchumi Supermarket and contested by the Kenya Defence Forces.
Ruto said he would urge the army to back off as the land was holy, and fitting for a church.
The president then praised Mwai, while hitting out at other clerics criticising his leadership.
Ruto’s visit and donation angered Kenyans, with some questioning the source of the money.
Others threatened to occupy the church during the next Sunday service to demand that Mwai return the money.
Speaking after the backlash, Mwai said he received incessant calls and insulting messages from incensed Kenyans.

Mwai clarified that Ruto was yet to give the church any money, and he was forced to change his phone number after getting over 5,000 messages.
The incident irked Ng’ang’a, who called on the government to deal with the perpetrators.
A video of a sermon showed the controversial preacher calling for the government to torture those involved.
“Now you are insulting preachers, and leaders of the country then you say you are being kidnapped, I thought you would change.”
The preacher said the government should arrest critics and take them to the Kamiti Maximum Prison, which houses inmates with serious offences.
“Those who don’t know Kamiti should be pressed with pliers. It’s too much.”
Numerous Kenyans said that Ng’ang’a had changed tune from a government critic, with some claiming that he also wanted to benefit from the president’s huge donations.

The preacher's current stance is the opposite of what he said in 2024.
Following the anti-government protests, the preacher commended young people for their bravery.
He also thanked them for their support.
