NYC Exhibit Celebrates The Solo Artistry Of BTS Member Jimin
The exhibit offers insight into Jimin's solo artistry.
MMCL“The Truth Untold,” an exhibit that celebrates the musical journey of BTS member Jimin, can be seen in New York City this June.
Jimin is a singer, songwriter and member of the world’s most popular k-pop band. He’s recognized globally for his many contributions to the band’s chart-topping hits, which include “Butter,” “Fake Love” and “Permission to Dance." Jimin not only adds his voice to the band’s distinctive sound, but with a background in modern dance he plays a prominent role in BTS’ exceptional choreography. The personal and immersive exhibit documents Jimin’s journey as a solo artist.
His own solo discography includes “Lie,” “Serendipity,” and “With You,” which was on the soundtrack for the hit Korean TV series Our Blues. Jimi also recorded “Vibe” in collaboration with k-pop icon Taeyang. Jimin’s first solo album “Face,” released in March 2023, made him the first South Korean solo artist to top the Billboard Hot 100.
“The Truth Untold" exhibition incorporates various installations, such as a large media wall and distortion mirrors, visually representing the album’s themes of introspection, confusion, and vulnerability.

WireImageJimin’s second solo album “Muse” was released on July 19, 2024. “Muse” embodies Jimin’s journey to find the source of his inspiration. It features the main track, “Who,” a song that spent 44 weeks on Billboard’s Global 200. The exhibit’s vintage-style listening room evokes the aesthetic of his "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)" music, while video and diverse photo zones are designed to provide visitors with memorable, interactive encounters.
The exhibit features his handwritten production diaries and lyric notebooks, which offer insight into his creative process, as well as a curated display of his iconic fashion and props worn during various performances and music videos. There are trophies and awards that Jimin received for his solo work, plus recreations of music video sets from "Like Crazy" and “Set Me Free.”
The exhibit is organized by BigHit Music and Hybe, hosted by Paradise E&A and promoted by the global content agency MondayMorningCreativeLab (MMCL). “The Truth Untold” will run from May 31 to June 29, 2025 at 30 Wall Street in New York City. The exhibit was previously displayed in Los Angeles.
