NSF: Kwara Sports commission Boss charges athletes to be focused

Bolakale Mogaji, Executive Chairman of the Kwara Sports Commission, has urged the state athletes to be focused and go for medals.

Mogaji, who gave the charge while addressing newsmen on Monday in Abeokuta, expressed optimism over Kwara’s prospects at the games.

“I’m confident we’ll surpass our previous medal count.

“Our athletes are primed to deliver exceptional performances and make a lasting impact,” he said.

Mogaji advised coaches to remain composed under pressure and ensure punctuality for scheduled events.

“Stay calm, and make sure you’re at the venue before the official start time,”he said.

The chairman acknowledged the unwavering support of Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara, describing it as a significant morale boosting for the team.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the games which kicked off on Sunday will end on May 30.
