All this comes after Kenyan activists were denied a chance to support Tanzanian opposition leader Tundu Lissu, who is currently behind bars.
The CHADEMA party leader was arrested for his electoral reform demands as Tanzania prepares to hold a general election in October.
Tundu held a public rally where he declared that the elections should not go on if reforms are not put in place to ensure transparency and fairness.
The politician is currently facing charges of treason and publishing false information online, with allegations that he incited rebellion.
However, Tundu denies all charges that have been brought forward against him.
Some of the Kenyan activists who went to Tanzania, including Willy Mutunga, Martha Karua, Hussein Khalid and Hanifa Adan, were barred from the country.
However, Boniface Mwangi, who had earlier refused to open his hotel door for authorities, is still being detained in Tanzania.
Amidst all these, Kenyans who felt that Tanzania was being harsh on their fellow countrymen decided to fight back the best way they knew how.
Hackers breached several accounts of government institutions, including the National Police's X page, and went as far as announcing the fake death of President Samia Suluhu.
This was a huge mishap in the governance and a huge hit that not only surprised East Africa, but the continent and even worldwide.
Nigerians are among the countries that have reacted to the story, with comedian Doctall Kingsley leading with a hilarious reaction on TikTok.
The funnyman was clearly stunned by the story, even asking other countries to fear Kenya, as there is nothing impossible with them.
His countrymen also reacted in his comment section, noting how Kenya's activism goes beyond borders, literally.

Earlier, reported that Tanzania blocked X (formerly Twitter) in their country, following the fake news on President Suluhu's demise.
This came after several cyberattacks, including that of the Tanzania Police Force X page, which shared fake news.
Internet monitoring group NetBlocks noted that X was blocked on major service providers across the country.
This came days after the president had urged the police to intensify protection around social media platforms.
