New 'Superman' TV Spot Gives First Look At David Corenswet Flying - mxdwn Movies

has just been released with some new bonus footage that wasn’t included in the first teaser trailer. Audiences got a new look at Nicholas Hoult’s Lex Luthor and the best footage yet of David Corenswet’s Superman mid-flight. The latter clip is only a mere 4 seconds long, but needless to say it has sparked excitement on the journey to the film’s release.
The rest of the 30-second teaser comprises images released earlier, including Superman lying in the snow and calling to Superdog Krypto, Superman protecting a little girl from destruction, and Superman fighting a Kaiju-like monster. The music in the spot also shares the John Williams’ Superman-inspired score from the teaser.
With regard to the flying technique shown in the upcoming superhero movie, director James Gunn took inspiration from 2022’s Top Gun: Maverick. Production included the use of drones to achieve a realistic look to Superman’s flight.
DC Studios’ Superman soars into theaters on July 11. Watch the new TV spot below.
