The kings of summer vacation are back again with season 5 of the award-winning kids' show Phineas and Ferb dropping this week on Disney+.

The new season follows the inventive stepbrothers as they try to make another 104 days of summer fun. This includes attempts at building a full-scale roller coaster, becoming musicians, building a backyard beach, and traveling back in time to meet dinosaurs. Meanwhile, Candace is more determined than ever to finally bust her little brothers, while their pet platypus, Perry, continues to lead a double life as the suave Agent P. on a mission is to thwart evil.

Parents got an exclusive peek at more of what families can expect from the new season.

National Geographic

Acclaimed broadcaster David Attenborough takes viewers on a journey to reveal Earth’s most spectacular underwater habitats in this nature documentary from National Geographic. Through underwater sequences featuring coral reefs, kelp forests, and the vast ocean life, Attenborough shares why a healthy ocean keeps the entire planet stable and flourishing.

This could be a great educational option to watch with kids who love the ocean and animals. If you want to make it a documentary double-feature, another title streaming on Disney+ that we recommend is Sea Lions of the Galapagos.

A brand new Nickelodeon kids' show is dropping this weekend, and this one is about a blended family. Half-siblings Jack and Lily have always lived apart with their parents. But when that all changes on summer, it kicks off a new, chaotic normal for everybody.

Could this be Nickelodeon's answer to Big City Greens? We'll see. But first, check out this exclusive deep dive on everything you need to know about Wylde Pak before the premiere.

Netflix

Season 3 of this Netflix drama about Georgia, a single mom with a troubled past, and her two kids, Ginny and Austin is streaming this week. Fans of the show should be in for plenty more drama as the family's attempts to get a fresh start keep going haywire.

This season opens with Georgia and her family trying to put down roots in a picturesque New England town after years on the run.

If there are Ted Lasso fans in the family, this new Apple TV+ show is drawing some comparisons to it. Stick stars Owen Wilson as ex-professional golfer Pryce Cahill. After an incident that derailed his career, he decides to mentor a teen golf prodigy in hopes to regain some glory.

This one is rated MA for mature, so it's likely most suitable for older teens only.
